What's going on around our nolanville shop the first half of april 2025?

It's shaping up to be an exciting first half of April 2025 around our Nolanville, TX shop! As March wrapped up, we've been incredibly busy, completing some standout paint protection film (PPF, clear bra), window tint, and hail repair projects and hosting events for car enthusiasts and our local RC car community. Here's a detailed look at what's happening around our Nolanville location as we move into April. Corvettes, Tesla Cybertrucks, RC cars, and more!

Exciting Vehicle Projects Completed

One of the most thrilling projects recently wrapped up was our second-ever color-change paint protection film (PPF) installation on a stunning 2024 Tesla Cybertruck. The unique Black Phantom Red film from UPPF/Terminax gave this Cybertruck a jaw-dropping, head-turning look, significantly enhancing its aesthetics while providing robust protection against rock chips and scratches.

Additionally, we welcomed our first Sebring Orange C8 Corvette, specifically a gorgeous 2025 Corvette Z06. This vibrant Sebring Orange Tricoat color is quickly becoming a personal favorite around the shop due to its eye-catching appearance. Our expert team meticulously installed our most popular PPF package, the full front paint protection film package, including protection for carbon flash accent pieces on the front bumpers and mirror stalks, totaling approximately 22 individual components.

Not to be outdone, we also completed our milestone 50th and 51st Corvette PPF installations. Alongside the Z06, we worked on a sleek black 2024 C8 Stingray, which received not only the full front PPF package but also additional coverage on the A-pillars and roof edge line. To further enhance and protect its finish, we added an 8-year ceramic coating to the Stingray, covering the vehicle's wheel faces and glass, giving it ultimate shine and ease of maintenance.

We didn't stop there—other vehicles that rolled out of our shop recently include a pristine 2025 Ford F150 Platinum, which received our premium 8-year ceramic coating, and a Mercedes GLC300 that opted for our critical impact PPF package, covering key vulnerable areas like the hood, bumper, and mirrors.

Why Choose Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Coating?

At our Nolanville location, we're passionate about providing superior vehicle protection, which is why we exclusively offer Autobahn Incognito PPF with a lifetime warranty. For the Tesla Cybertruck specifically, the UPPF/Terminax color-change film not only delivers aesthetics superior to traditional vinyl wraps but also provides triple the thickness for ultimate protection against road debris and rock chips. This specialized PPF also offers remarkable hydrophobic properties, repelling water, dirt, and bugs effectively.

While paint protection film excels at defending against physical impacts, ceramic coating offers an ideal complementary solution. Ceramic coating is essential for protecting your vehicle's paint from harmful UV rays and environmental contaminants and makes cleaning effortless. Although it won't stop rock chips, it significantly aids in maintaining your car’s appearance between washes.

Window Tinting Excellence

Our window tinting specialists have also been incredibly busy. Throughout late March and early April, we've consistently tinted between 25-31 vehicles weekly using Autobahn Black Ceramic and Ceramic i3 window films. Autobahn's premium films offer substantial infrared heat reduction—Black Ceramic blocks 60%, while the Ceramic i3 film blocks an impressive 93%. These films help keep your vehicle cool and comfortable during the intense Central Texas summers. Additionally, Autobahn films come with a lifetime warranty, offering unbeatable value for our clients around the Killeen area. It's also the ONLY film on the market to provide a one-time no-fault use warranty.

Community Events – RC and Car Meets

Our shop isn’t just about enhancing and protecting cars—we love engaging with our community. Late March saw us hosting a lively RC Car Meet that attracted about 20 enthusiasts from Killeen and surrounding areas. Participants enjoyed a day of fun, networking, and joined our exclusive HRCC private Facebook group, fostering a growing community for RC enthusiasts.

Following the success of the RC meet, we hosted an equally vibrant car meet the following weekend. This gathering celebrated local automotive passion, bringing together enthusiasts to showcase their vehicles, discuss modifications, and simply enjoy camaraderie among fellow car lovers. Our goal remains to position our Nolanville shop as the ultimate hub for automotive enthusiasts in Central Texas.

Personal Projects & Enthusiast Builds

On a personal note, our team celebrated a special milestone as we got my own 1940 Ford Deluxe fiberglass kit car road-ready for our recent car meet. The build, though personal and not shop-related, included a high-end Audio Control stereo system installation, adding modern convenience to a classic style. Now, we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of our custom-ordered Raceline billet wheels, placed at the end of 2024, which should complete this exciting project within the next few weeks.

We did install Autobahn Incognito Paint Protection Film on the fenders (front and rear), side boards, nose, hood, trunk, and part of the back of the car to protect this antique car from road abuse. I personally drive this car almost every day to and from work, and I've worked hard to get it to be a daily driver - so I need to ensure it is protected! Eventually we will be tinting the windows and installing windshield protection film. While windshield protection film is not for everyone around here, it is good for cars that seldom use their wipers (such as Corvettes, garage and weekend enthusiast cars, and cars like this with no windhsield wipers!).

Continued Focus on Hail Damage Repair FOR KILLEEN RESIDENTS

Contrast this to vinyl wraps, which will not stop rock chips - so on a vinyl wrap, the rocks would chip the vinyl, showing the stainless steel silver color through whatever wrap you choose.

Aside from that, most glossy vinyl wraps have significantly more orange peel than our paint protection film options, which have almost no orange peel. Furthermore, in the Central Texas heat and sun, the vinyl wrap has no chance of lasting ten years, like our paint protection film.

Whether you live in Copperas Cove, Waco, or even Georgetown, we aren't a far drive for you - situated somewhat in the middle of all of our towns is Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings located in Nolanville TX.
