Next event - mark your calendars for September 14th at 10am again. We are going to make it even better!

Here’s some points about August 10th meet:

  • turnout was probably total of maybe 80-100 cars or so I think
  • Everyone was on their best behavior. Man I LOVE LOVE LOVE this about our meets. We want a family-friendly event for the Killeen area with no trouble and this was 100% it!
  • Speaking of families, PLEASE bring your kids and invite your friends that have kids that love cars, as we have more planned for kids even more so than this time!
  • All the vendors I got GREAT compliments on and you can expect to see them back next time as well. I’ve already locked them in and MORE.
  • People did a good job parking in the back. Remember that the area in the back is not super high grass or anything and all but the lowest cars can go back there
  • We will put up a proposed map of parking for next time
  • We will have the prize wheel again
  • We still have room for a ton more cars in the back

Some points about the next meet

  • same vendors as last time plus some more: Covenant Coffee will have free coffee at our expense, Antojitos by Cath will be there with cheesecake cups and more, probably mini pancakes with toppings for breakfast, Yvonne’s Kitchen will be back with her picadillio burritos & croissant sandwiches, Fridae will be back with face painting for the kids
  • What we are working on: JBs hot dog stand who also has more kids games and a sand table with remote control excavators etc
  • More vendors with kids activities - we want this to be a family-friendly event

What will be the theme this time?

Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings Thanksgiving / Shutdown Fundraiser Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings, a small business that is focused on helping the community, located in Nolanville, TX, is looking to raise funds (we will match every dollar up to $2000) to feed those in need this holiday season. We donate to the Nolanville food pantry (this will not affect our donations), cancer charities, and much more. We also pick one person per month to give a $250 HEB gift card to, to buy groceries. Initially, we were going to buy turkeys and Thanksgiving meals for people, but being in a military town during the shutdown with people unsure of future paychecks, we thought this might be a better option to allow people to buy what they want. Right now, we have over 100 nominations for the $250 gift card and can’t possibly fulfill every person as they come pouring in each day. We will use this money to buy $100 gift cards for more people. Any money above and beyond the goal of $2000 will go towards more gift cards. Please join us in helping those in need! Matthew Jones Owner, Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings
