"I had Matthew come down to Austin from Harker Heights (1 hour drive) to do a paint correction and ceramic coating on my 2008 Corvette. He did an AMAZING job and the Ceramic Pro he put on my car makes it look 1000% better! We have done three Jeeps for the same family from the Killeen area in as many weeks, and this one was something we admittedly did not know even existed. Here we have a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4XE hybrid Jeep! We are hybrid owners ourselves, owning a 2019 BMW i8 Roadster, which you may have seen in some of our clear bra/paint protection film/ceramic coating videos or frequently asked questions.

Here at HHCC we have level one chargers (they do not provide a lot of power, but enough to have your vehicle leave with more power than they arrived!) both inside and out. Our shop and home are powered by 55 solar panels, totaling 22.14kW, with a net grid usage of 0 day in and day out. Even with all of our paint correction/ceramic coating/clear bra equipment, massive light systems, and HVAC/AC/dehumidifier. We don’t know if we are the “greenest” shop around, but we must be close!

Ceramic Coating Installation

This Jeep came to us practically straight from the Killeen dealership for us to install SB3 Alpha & Omega (sometimes called Almega), which combined together is a seven year ceramic coating. In addition, we installed SB3 Coatings Vortex wheel ceramic coating and SB3 Coatings Optic windshield ceramic coating. Fortunately, the vehicle barely needed any preparation work as it was still completely clean! No paint correction/paint enhancement was necessary!

Many auto detailers claim that paint correction is ALWAYS required prior to ceramic coating, but this is simply not true. We always conduct a good decontamination to ensure the ceramic coating will properly bond to the paint, but paint correction/paint enhancement/auto detailing is always up to the client and how satisifed they are with their paint. And this awesome Killeen family did not need it!

SB3 Coatings (sb3coating.com) are great coatings. They are similar to other offerings we have had in the past. You may be more familiar with other brands’ offerings. Here is a quick reference to help you understand our transition.

– The SB3 Coatings Solo is similar to Ceramic Pro Sport. (although SB3 Solo has a one-year warranty whereas Ceramic Pro Sport has a six-month warranty)

– SB3 Coatings Omega is similar to Ceramic Pro Bronze (Ceramic Pro Top Coat) two year coating

– The SB3 Coatings Thirty3 is a three-year ceramic coating. Which is a warranty period we have not had in the past.

– SB3 Coatings Alpha is a five-year coating, similar to the Ceramic Pro Silver (five-year) package, which uses Ceramic Pro 9H (one layer) and Ceramic Pro Top Coat (one layer). SB3 Coatings Alpha utilizes a single coating system which helps us get your vehicle back to you faster without sacrificing quality.

– The SB3 Coatings Trinity is a seven-year coating, which we did not offer previously with Ceramic Pro.

– SB3 Coatings Vortex is a two-year ceramic coating similar to Ceramic Pro Wheel & Caliper or Ceramic Pro 9H (when used on wheels).

– The SB3 Coatings Optic is a one-year ceramic coating similar to Ceramic Pro Glass. It is used on your windshield/glass surfaces.
