Today our Austin-area client that works in the Killeen/Fort Hood area had us ceramic coat her 2018 Honda Clarity plug-in hybrid. Our client commutes many miles each way for work, and those miles accumulate bug guts. If you have seen our other articles and YouTube videos on bug guts, you know that they can etch the paint over time (similar to bird droppings). 

The goal here is to install SB3 Coatings Omega two year ceramic coating on the painted surfaces, which will make bug gut cleanup so much easier. When cleanup is easier, we have to scrub less on the paint. Scrubbing less on the paint during an auto detail makes us less likely to scratch the paint AND more likely to clean it in the first place (if doing an auto detail is a CHORE, we are less likely to do it, whereas with ceramic coating, it’s so much easier!).

After we installed SB3 Coatings Omega two year ceramic coating on the painted (and plastic) exterior surfaces, we installed SB3 Coatings Optic one year ceramic coating for the windshield and SB3 Coatings Vortex two year ceramic coating for the wheels, which should make the excessive brake dust from the commute that much easier to clean, as well!
