We traveled all the way to Hawaii to complete this job for a client in a nearly mobile situation. Thanks to Joey Love from Love’s Auto Detailing, we had a space and hospitality to work in to change this 2019 BMW i8 Roadster from Sophisto Gray to a shifting blue/purple color using @STEK dynoPrism clear bra/paint protection film/PPF. 

dynoPrism carries a TEN YEAR warranty against yellowing, cracking, fading, or failure. This was a very challenging job for multiple reasons, but we had a blast installing!

We have many options for “fashion” film and would love to install either clear (gloss) clear bra/paint protection film/PPF or color change film for you.

Unfortunately, we did not have our usual media there to document the process, and it was a whirlwind of a trip, and so we received footage from the client!

We have a 2019 BMW i8 Roadster as well – they only made 3884 TOTAL BMW i8 Roadsters in 2019-2020 (the only years for this trim level) worldwide, making it a fairly rare car (only about 1000 total i8s were sold in the United States in 2019-2020).
