2022 Dodge RAM 1500 TRX – Partial Front Paint Protection Film/Clear Bra
This was a pretty cool job for a client that uses his trucks as intended – driving at highway speeds on unimproved roads as part of his job in the oil industry. Being that this truck is so gorgeous, the client came to use from the Salado area to have us install a partial clear bra/paint protection film/PPF on the front of the vehicle, and then all along the black pieces of the doors/rocker panels/part of the bed.
Much of the front of the Dodge RAM 1500 TRX is plastic or textured metal, which means they cannot be clear bra (clear bra/paint protection film/PPF won’t stick well to textured plastics, and even if it did, it would look very bad as the clear bra would have thousands of tiny little air pockets where there are divots in the plastic texture).
After we delivered the vehicle, the client immediately drove it out west to the job site for several weeks, and stated that it held up really well. Expect to see a Ford Raptor from him shortly, as well, which we will be ceramic coating with an SB3 Coating, SB3 Omega (a two year coating, similar to a Ceramic Pro Bronze Package).
