SB3 Ceramic Coating Trim Package Explanation, Instructions, & Demonstration – Killeen Tx
In this video we are going to talk about SB3 ceramic coating trim. A two-year trim package that restores shine and preserves plastic and trim against UV rays. SB3 Coatings have many ceramic coating options that are similar or superior to other major ceramic coating brands. Some examples being Ceramic Pro, Gtechniq, Gyeon, Undrdog, IGL, and many more. However, just remember that the best brand for your application is not always the one with the biggest advertising budget. You might see a ton of ads in the Copperas Cove/Killeen/Fort Hood/Harker Heights areas targeting you. Especially after you open this page (Facebook may start showing you ads for SB3 or Ceramic Pro, just because we mentioned it – haha).

As with many auto detailing situations, one of the keys to success for applying SB3 Trim is preparing the surface. For this, we want to use something that is pH balanced soap/foam/waterless wash to clean it, but then SB3 Ready or similar panel prep solvent-based product to ensure the surface is free of oils and other residue. In a pinch, you might be able to find Chemical Guys Wipeout (not to be confused with American Detailer Garage Wipeout. This is a rinseless/waterless wash) locally.
After You Clean The Surface
After you clean the surface you plan to restore using SB3 Trim, it’s a very simple process for this ceramic coating. Apply SB3 Trim to the pad generously. Then wipe onto the surface in a cross-hatch pattern, ensuring complete coverage.
Then, let the product either dry naturally (using sunlight or heat lamps), or by leveling it with a detailing towel, such as an Autofiber towel that you see us use in most videos.
*Note: SB3 Coatings are great coatings, and are similar to other offerings we have had in the past. The SB3 Solo is similar to Ceramic Pro Sport (although SB3 Solo has a one year warranty whereas Ceramic Pro Sport has a six month warranty). SB3 Vortex is similar to Ceramic Pro Wheel & Caliper or Ceramic Pro 9H (Ceramic Pro 9H for glossy black or matte wheels and Ceramic Pro Wheel & Caliper for other types). SB3 Optic is similar to Ceramic Pro Glass. Of course, we have access to many brands of ceramic coatings. We always choose what is best for the client in their particular situation.
